Dear Debby,

I wanted to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for the manner in which you were able to assist me in the sale of one house and the purchase of the new one.  As you may recall, I was helping a friend and ward of mine to re-locate after the death of his mother.  You were very understanding of the situation and I sincerely appreciate all the extra time and patience you took in advising me on the sale of the existing house, in terms of market evaluation and presentation of that property.  I was very pleased with the final sale price.  In regards to the new home, I actually lost track of the numbers of houses we looked at(some more than once), but I never felt like you were losing patience, in fact you were extremely polite and that made the process all the more pleasurable.

I have and will continue to recommend you to my friends and associates who may be looking to buy or sell their home. There is a lot to be said for your years of experience. You made the whole process seem so simple!

Thanks again,

Gary Boggan

This letter is written as a testimonial to the excellent job and performance of Debby Hebert selling our house thru Re/Max.

In November of 2004 I found out our family would be making a move from Texas to Massachusetts. Our realtor that sold our house to us a few years earlier was no longer a realtor, but still a friend. I called her to ask if she could refer us to another realtor, thinking she would be the best source to find someone good. This is how I met Debby Hebert.

My first call from Debby was to introduce herself to me and find out exactly what if any of her services we could use. Keep in mind that my husband had all ready made the move to Massachusetts leaving me here to handle this house sale. You would think I would be so overwhelmed with my husband leaving to go so far away and me here with a 16 year old son and a house to sell, but with Debby's help it was so much easier. Debby not only was my realtor but it was as if I had an "in" in the business. You know when you want to buy something or get some kind of service performed and you are looking for someone that can give you the inside scoop or some little bit of extra help, well that was Debby. There were times when I would call her franticly wondering was the house going to sell in time for me to make my move in June. Keep in mind that my house was only on the market from December 8th until the day it sold April 15th. I don't think that is very long at all when there are other houses in the same neighborhood that have been for sale for much longer. I also live in a neighborhood that new construction was going up on a daily basis.
Debby made my house sound so appealing, and I guess it was, I loved it. But when I would read the brochures she left at my house, I would think "wow what a nice house" and "wow that's my house". I would have wanted to buy it if I was looking. In the midst of selling my home I found out in January that my sister-in-law had cancer again. This was something that really took us aback. But once again Debby was there as a friend trying to ease the pain. Telling me of how she had to deal with very similar experiences in her life with family members. Every time I would talk to her about something concerning the house, her concern about my sister-in-law was voiced. It was nice to know she really did care about not just selling my home and making money. Honestly I never thought that she was doing this as a job. To me it seemed as though she enjoyed helping others.

Our house did sell and Debby did all she could to make it an easy process. My husband was in Massachusetts but she explained houw he could do all the signing via emails and faxes. I thought this was great. In the past we had to have my husband provide me with power of attorney to sign for him with previous house sales. Not only did this make it easier for me but saved the expense of hiring an attorney to write up the document.

There were a few glitches at the last minute. Not on our part but the purchaser was having issues with her lending institution. I was so at ease about the sale that I even left to go to Massachusetts to visit my husband. I had no qualms that Debby would handle any and all situations that arose. She updated us so frequently that I never had time to get worried about what was going on or what what was going to happen next, because she was all ready telling us.

We are now involved in a house purchase in Massachusetts. My only regret having used Debby as a Realtor in the past is that she makes other Realtors look bad. She by far made our house sale much easier than our new house purchase. I have even been calling her for advice on certain issues for this new home. How many other people would spend time on you once they were done serving you? I mean after you go to dinner at a restaurant do you get home and call the chef and ask for advice on cooking? Do you call a mechanic after you have car repairs and another problem arises for advice?

I think that anyone would be the better to have Debby as their Realtor, because not only is she doing a job, she is doing something that is evident she enjoys doing. I would recommend anyone looking for a Realtor to give Debby a call. And maybe you like I will end up with a friend in the meantime.

Sincerely,
Lisa Bulot

______________________________________________________

I would like to let everyone know who may be thinking about buying or selling their home, talk with Debby Hebert of Re/Max.  I lost my Husband over three years ago. A year or so after his passing I thought I wanted to move.  I drove around by myself and saw a house I thought I would like to look at.  Debby Hebert was the contact on the sign.  I called her, we met and she showed me the house.   I loved it, but I just did not follow through, probably really not ready to move.  Debby showed me more homes, but I never followed through and told her I guess I was just not finding what I wanted.  She was so patient and understanding.

Over two years later, I got a call from Debby just out of the blue.  Debby said she had a house I really needed to see.  I was not even thinking about moving and definitely was not looking at that time, but because she had been so patient with me in the past, I said alright.

We made an appointment to go see this house, I took a friend with me and over we went. When I walked into this house, I knew it was going to be my home. My friend could not believe that someone in the real estate business could be so right about a home for someone, especially me.  I asked Debby, how did you know this home was for me? She said that she remembered different things from years back that I did like and when she saw this one she thought of me. This home was not even listed yet and she had not even showed me any houses or talked to me in over two years.

I failed to mention I also had to sell my home.  I was so dreading this because I had lived in my home over thirty years. Debby handled everything from selling my home to buying my new home. I called her repeatedly with questions; worry and she kept me reassured, but also calmed me. Did I mention she sold my home only after six showings and one of those didn’t even show.

I have been in my home for over two months now and love it.  Something I really dreaded, Debby made an amazing experience.

If you want someone that gives that personal feeling they are there for you, Debby Hebert is certainly that person. You not only have a Professional person, but you have made a friend for life.

Thank You,

Jill Mullikin
